Place an absolute disgrace. See my photos. The Thai authorities should hang their head in shame with the amount of plastic washed up and ignored. Honestly it makes you despair when you actually see locals throw Starbucks cold latte plastics cups to the ground while...More

This wonderful "beach area" is about 4+ kms/2.5+ miles long... and has many vendors offering massages, lounge chairs, food and drinks... but it also has many areas where one can enjoy the beach's "natural beauty", the warm water, and the peacefulness which is ever present!...More

We enjoyed Lamai beach a great deal. It is way more laid back than Chaweng. It is not the finest sand I have experienced, but very nice nonetheless. With young children it it a far better choice than Chaweng wich more adult oriented.

This is a great beach to spend the day at not too busy. Blue sea to swim or just lounge about. They is the local sellers. Not too much water activates. Just a nice beach to spend the day at.

The beach is wide, there are small restaurants, and above all beautiful masseuses. The cost of Thai massage is cheap, 330 BTH !!
