A little bit sad that these magestic animals are dopped up. But you would never have the opportunity to get so close otherwise. It was clear though after talking to the handler that they are very well cared for. An amazing experience non the less.

PLEASE DO NOT under any circumstances, make the same mistake as we did and visit this elephant HELL. Namuang elephant trekking involves the keeper sitting on the elephants neck, stabbing it in the head with a pik/axe like object until the elephant screams from pain!!!!!!!!!!!...More

Staying in Koh Samui for just a few days, we wanted to find something the kids (5 and 10 years old) might like other than go to the beach. We asked the hotel we were staying at for some suggestions for a half day tour...More

This is a nice park... lots of activities... some are free others you pay for. For those who don't like animals such as elephants etc in captivity, it's probably a place to avoid... but from what i have seen the animals are well looked after....More

I haven’t been to this tour and I don’t no why anyone would! Watching animals “performing” is disgusting not only for the animals but for the humans willing to watch! We walked past elephants on our way to the waterfall...chained up with no water and...More

If you want to see the waterfall fine it is beautiful. Elephants are chained by short chains and hooks are used, do NOT support this. Read google reviews before you go. Not a nice experience:(

Amazing experience in this Elephant sanctuary. Thanks God after spending the whole day in this place I had the chance to see that those wonderful animals were very well treated, most of them unchained, and feeded regularly. I suggest to visit this place and to...More

Avoid this place, clearly mistreating animals. It is an unavoidable site when visiting Namueng Waterfall. An elephant on show chained up swaying from side to side. We were on a bus tour and the entire bus was silent when we got back on board. No...More

Sadly we had to park here to walk to the waterfalls, however I would not give a single baht to this place. We saw elephants that were chained and showing signs of distress as well as those being scared into carrying tourists on their backs....More
