Neighbourhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

- James WongSingapore, Singapore5 contributionsDisappointing ServiceWe booked a massage 2 days in advance for my wife and my 2 teenage sons for a female and 3 male therapists. When we were ushered in to the room for the boys, I heard my wife raising her voice “no, no, no” repeatedly. I went over to her room to find out that they have arranged for my wife to share the same massage room with another person of the opposite gender. We were flabbergasted because they insisted that it was not a problem since the person is a young boy (roughly 16 years old). When we went 6 floors down to complain to the manager about this, they were saying ‘no problem” and just got the other male patron out to another room. We carried on with the massage anyhow and close to the end of the massage, the wall clock beside my mattress dropped just inches beside my head. This type of service is not what I remember about Health Land. Looks like it’s going to take a lot more for me to return to Health Land.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 8 April 2023
- Amzar A3 contributionsHealth Land Spa BangkokWe had body massage treatment (Abhyanga) which was good especially with experienced masseuse. It was relaxing and refreshing. However we tried a different treatment on second day (Shirodhara) which I think could be explained better on the expectations as we felt it fell short of the experience intended. Overall the place is clean, provides in house parking, organized and well maintained.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 September 2023
- MaximilianHong Kong, China254 contributionsMassage was shorter then I paid for!I recently visited Health Land Sathon for a massage, and while the service provided by the therapists was good, my session was cut short by 15 minutes, which was quite disappointing considering I was looking forward to the full 120-minute experience. Moreover, the explicit request for a tip at the end of the session felt quite awkward and somewhat marred the overall relaxing experience. It’s not that I mind tipping for good service, but being asked directly felt out of place and a bit pressuring. As a result, I can only give this experience 3 stars. With a full-length session and a more discreet approach to gratuities, my rating would undoubtedly be higher.Visited November 2023Travelled soloWritten 3 November 2023

I have visited a few Health Land Spas in Bangkok, but this experience was the worst I've ever had (26 Oct 2023). I hadn't originally planned to write this review, but I feel the need to warn others about how bad my experience was.
The reception area was small and had four staff members, but only one of them was working. After making the payment and waiting in the sitting area, a woman just yelled out the customer's name, which was very unprofessional.
My friend and I had booked a 2-hour Thai massage and a 1-hour Aroma massage. The Thai massage started off well, but it became weaker and rushed as it progressed. The masseur didn't complete the whole body massage, and then we moved to the aroma room.
The masseur had a tray of aroma oils, and I thought he was going to ask me which one I preferred. However, when he started applying the oil, I asked him about the aroma oil. Since he didn't speak English, he couldn't understand what I was saying, and he had already applied the oil to my body. I didn't like the smell at all.
He spent nearly 45 minutes just rubbing my legs and the last 15 minutes applying the oil to my body. His behavior was unprofessional, and there were some inappropriate touches to my private area.
After finishing the massage, I complained about the aroma oil at the front desk. The woman at the front counter simply said, "Sorry," and nothing more.
I don't think I will ever go back to this branch again. I hope all of you should be careful as well.

On our last trip to Bangkok we decided to have a full body massage. It was a very relaxing experience. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to get a massage the next day also. The masseur were very strong and they did a professional job. I recommend a massage to anyone who visits

Hygiënisch is not good also the service. The massage is so so not professional.
I booked for 120 minutes didn’t feel beter.
If you do massage business to help another people to feel better from painful you have to love to do not only for money and tip! I will not recommend this place to anyone!

I have been visiting Bangkok for many years and always visit Health Land for the very best 2 hour aromatherapy massage. It now seems their prices are very competitive with the many smaller parlours in Silom, where they are creeping up post covid.
Such a beautiful venue, with so many choices of therapy and always an amazing massage.

I went there last week.I must say from the start that I have been going to this place for years but I am now noticing a definite loss of quality standards. Therapist used was # 207.
No greeting from therapist at the start. Passes in front of you into elevator with no word of excuse. Same when treatment is finished. For Thailand that prizes itself on its standards of politeness and how smiley the people are, this is the last place where you will see this in action. Seems their only concern is commercial
Would be necessary for management to review their service quality and put more accent on service and less on commission and tips. Alternatively employ people for the long term and not day by day.

I came with the reservation but was told at the front desk that the therapist just fainted and unable to provide the massage. So I have to wait for 1 hour for another reservation. Why do they give the therapist too much work?

Has anyone had success booking an appointment via email or other ways? We arrive in Bangkok and are only there for 2 days but are afraid there won’t be any openings if we walk in and make a reservation for the next day!
Or is making an international call prior to our trip worth it ?

You can booking when you arrive or booking as the same day that you wanna go. Don't need to do international call.

It is often quite busy and no walk-ins accepted; however, at off-peak hours and not during weekends and holidays it is possible to walk in and wait 10-20 minutes.
This is a very popular massage facility for tourists and well-to-do Thai people as well.
Highly recommend the 2-hour. The 1-hour is simply too rushed.
