We visited this when going to see the coloured earth, it is well worth a visit and there are several viewing points.

Have never before seen the point at which a waterfall 'starts', ie where a river/stream makes its descent forming the waterfall; so, this was fantastic to see. There are two convenient viewing platforms on the way to the seven coloured earth site.

This place was really nice to ride a bike around, the scenery was beautiful, and great views of the waterfall. A must on the way down to the 7 coloured earth!

It’s worth seeing the chamarra region but the waterfall is not very impressive . There is a nice forest and green space but it’s very touristy so it’s not the absolute must go to place

This was our first outing to explore Mauritius. Very interesting but not magnificent. The scenery to get there was very beautiful. The whole of Black River Gorge national park is beautiful!

No idea, maybe go to the website to find that information or send an email to the hotel where you are going to stay.

Hiya! I don't think that both these activities would take a whole day, but if you include travel from flic en flac then maybe it maybe a half day tour. Most of the sites which are on tripadvisor are in the south. Tour... More
