Based on previous reviews, I had only allowed myself about 30 minutes to visit this museum. It is physically small but has a lot packed into that space, including an interactive video. If you want to learn about Amilcar Cabral and his significance I would suggest leaving a bit more time as there is plenty of text to read. There are also some very personal mementoes, including Cabral's famous hat and his suitcase. I learnt a lot and felt quite emotional reading the comments in the visitor book! If you don't have time to visit I would suggest taking a look at the building, as there is a powerful mural painted on the exterior.

In a region where there is so little information on history about the struggle for independence post colonization, this place shines a light especially focusing on the revolutionary himself through videos photos and his own personal possessions. Clean organized detailed and very professional!

Small and impressive museum and center of the movement of liberation of the african colonies. Friends of Cabral were in a meeting upstairs when we visited this house. In the cellar many books, photos, trunks and papers... everything will be carefully documented the next years. We had a good guide telling us the stories, showing us around.

Not a lot inside this museum & there is now an entrance fee of 200$. However the young museum guide was helpful & explained a few things. Worth about 15 minutes!

Strolling in the town of Praia, where they were putting up christmaslights in the heat, I found a little museum. On the wall there was a nice and interesting tekst, about respect for everyone, The guide asked politly if maybe I had some time to visit this little museum. So , I did.It is really little : 3 rooms and a cellar full of books. Bur it is interesting. Amilcar Cabral wanted respect for the culture of his people, and he wanted that boys and girls could go to school.
