A nice stop on the road to Hana for a quick picture with the ‘Three Bears’ waterfall (there are three falls representing papa bear, mama bear and bay bear).
Please note there is only room for one car to park at the falls itself, others will have to park in the wayside before or after the falls, but even these fill up at peak times. If it’s full just drive on - there are plenty of other waterfalls to enjoy on the road.

These falls are along the Hana Highway, although we thought they were called Waikani Falls (with an "i" at the end rather than an "e"). While most tourists just snap a few shots from the bridge along the highway, we ventured down a slippery trail to be nearer these magnificent falls. The roar of the water and the feeling of the mist against our skin was well worth it.

The falls are right on the road so it is easy to get your photo. Three separate falls. There are taller ones we saw but not a triple like this.

We stopped by this waterfall on our way to Hana Bay. There is limited parking, so get there early. There is three water falls that resemble the little bears. You can only stay there for a few minutes since there is so many people trying to see this attraction.

Near mile marker #19 on Hana Road. You will probably see the falls from the road but to really appreciate it you should drive a little further where you can park your car. Then walk back to the falls and you will be able to appreciate the beauty of those three falls.
Perfect spot to get great pictures.
It is a must-see along the Road to Hana.

We may have easily passed this if it was'nt for the line up of cars parked around the bridge and people looking out over the bridge at something. I knew I wanted to make 3 Bears water fall one of our stops, but did'nt realize this was it because it goes by another name.
We parked up the street further and walked a min to the bridge. There they were! 3 beautiful wAter falls, one was fairly large, the second one a bit smaller than the next.
We saw a couple swimming and thought we have to figure out how to get down there!
Turns out you have to go to the otherside of the bridge and climb down the rocks and go under the bridge and then just carefully make your way to the falls. It's a moderate climb. It was my husband & I aged in our 30's and my 12 y.o. Son who loved the adventure!
Only another couple in thier 50's made it down as well.
As we got there we swam out close to the falls where there is a rock you can sit on for photos! The wAter was freezing!
Then we climbed back over to the larger waterfall to get under it. There is a bit of a ledge you can walk or hang on to out.
It's very loud!
Best experince ever!

This is a nice break from the twisty Road to Hana. It's kind of a zoo to stop when the tour buses are there, but there is a small parking area just past the falls. If you are driving toward Hana, continue past the falls a few hundred yards and there is parking on the left. The triple waterfall is of course beautiful, but I also liked the whole area. It is very lush and I also liked the way the water showers down the slide of the cliff next to the road. Definitely worth a 20 or 30 minute stop to take it all in.

These falls are also called the "3 Bears", and they are located between mile markers 19 & 20.
The signs state no parking at all, but many people will park in front of the falls before the bridge, and other will drive over the bridge and park off to the side. Its up to you.
If you are interested in finding out how to hike down to the falls from the bridge, there are several Youtube videos that will show you. My family decided against the hike.
We go down and admired the falls and took some pictures. If you don't plan on doing the hike, 15-30 is sufficient time to spend here. The falls were rushing so the view was amazing.
No restrooms or any other services at this location. I would definitely stop by again to admire these falls.

Hana Highway is loaded with waterfall opportunities, but all of them seem to have major parking shortages. This one is no different. It’s a great waterfall, but what little parking is available was in overflow mode when were there.
