He came highly recommended and we used his service for 2 excursions. He took us from San Ignacio to the Guatemalan border and waited patiently for a few hours while we explored the nearby town. He explained how to go across the border and how to exchange the currency. It was easy to make arrangements with him using WhatsApp and he was very responsive and had reasonable rates. He also took us from San Ignacio to Belize City water taxi and allowed us plenty of time to make the ferry. In addition to his service and friendly manner he always pointed out interesting landmarks along the way. He is very familiar and proud of his Mayan heritage and this all added to the fantastic experience. We will definitely contact him on our next visit.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Abe! I found his information through Reddit and he came so highly recommended that I reached out to him. He was prompt with his responses, great about following up and his prices were very reasonable. We used his service to pick us up at the airport to take us to Cayo (Blancaneaux Lodge) and then later to go to Placencia. He was such a joy to be around! We really enjoyed the conversation and he was great to offer additional stops/excursions if we wanted. If you use his service, please keep in mind, he is an independent driver, not some large business. He does not have a formal booking system or credit card system for purchasing - do not let this deter you. His word is everything to him and his reputation is his livelihood. We absolutely recommend Abe. And, if he can’t accommodate, he will provide someone just as trustworthy.

Abe is a pleasant, courteous man whose goal is to make your trip pleasurable. He is punctual and promptly arrived for our appointment time. His automobile is very clean, and customer service was excellent, His outgoing, informative conversational demeanor made a long trip to the airport a breeze.

We did three trips with Abe and he was an excellent driver. Very safe, friendly and conscientious. Abe was a wonderful introduction to Belize, and helped us get our trip started right! We really enjoyed driving with him, he got us from belize city to San Ignacio, took us to xunantunich and back,and drove us from San Ignacio to Hopkins, with several stops along the way. The opportunity to make stops at various sites made it a nice alternative to taking the bus. If you're looking for a friendly, safe, knowledgeable driver while in Belize I would highly recommend Abraham! He was great!

We met Abe on the street in San Ignacio and really lucked out! We needed a ride from San Ignacio to our lodging, about a 20 min drive. Abe was super friendly, knowledgeable, and informative and offered to let us stop at the store to pick up snacks before carrying on to our lodge. A few days later we needed to book a ride from our place all the way to Belize City, about a 2 hour drive. We contacted Abe who responded promptly, offering us a very reasonable rate and agreeing to have another person tag along. His cars are extremely comfortable, and the drive from San Ignacio to Belize City was very pleasant with AC, stops for bathroom/food if needed, and Abe's friendly conversation. Most importantly, Abe is safe driver. HIGHLY recommenced his service if you need to get to and from Belize City, or even just around town.

Abe is such a kind soul and a wonderful driver! He was a major highlight of our trip. He drove us twice and was very punctual each time. He was so great to talk to and told us everything we wanted to know about Belize, and even offered to stop at local landmarks along our route for free. Can't recommend him enough!

We got a ride from Abe from Placenia to San Ignacio. Abe was super accommodating and friendly - he came early to pick us up and recommended a few stops along the Hummingbird Highway. We stopped at the Inland Blue Hole National Park and for lunch along the way. While we needed transportation, Abe gave us a full-on tour. Highly recommend!
WhatsApp Abe for recommendations on getting to Tikal or other sites/tours. He's super helpful. (I wish we'd asked him before our trip!)

Abe was a wonderful driver- very responsive to our emails for service, and provided very reasonable rates. He is also quite friendly and knowledgeable and gave us something of a mini tour as we drove to our destinations. A nice extra touch was a cooler of cold water bottles! I booked him thanks to prior reviews I had read on trip advisor forums, and his service certainly lived up to his positive reviews.

Abe is a fantastic person, safe driver, and very reliable. If in San Ignacio, this man needs to be your driver.
He picked us up promptly after talking on WhatsApp. Gave us multiple rides. We decided to use him for a ride from San Ignacio to Hopkins. We were not disappointed. He took bought us a snack, took us to a few attractions, brought us for lunch where we had fantastic tamales.
His wealth of knowledge and wonderful personality made it seem more like a ride with a friend.
