    Need better accommodations for concerts
Unless you like standing during a concert, this is not the place gor you. Standing room only, if your short, well good luck. They need larger TV screens so you can actually see the performers. Looking at their 60" TV and the band looked microscopic. Perhaps they could zoom the camera in a bit so u can see the actual performance live.

    Tommy Emmanual
We went to seeTommy Emmanual. We found out at the event that all seats were reserved, no general admission. Our seats were $32.00 each a good price. for ground floor in the center second row from the back, not the best in the house but the vunue was small enough that there isn't a bad seat. opening was Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley, who were good though not my style of music. The crowd was great, nobody misbehaved.

    Fun times Live bands
We went to see Led Zeppelin 2 play some old classic tunes and they moved the venue to the smaller room the Chapel. The place was packed and the line to the bar was very long, the prices are very expensive. The drawbacks were the price drink menu plus no table seating or comfortable seating for the injured handicapped crowd. When leaving the venue they hand out two hour free validation passes which helps lower the parking lot price.

So, either they oversold the show, or just poor design. How do you have pillars on the floor that block your view of a stage, when all that venue is used for is for concerts. To be honest, even if you get there early, doors open 1 hour ahead of time and then theres probably an opening act, so you'll be standing for a good 2 hours or more before who you went there to see comes on. - if you at least want a view of the stage. This was just a very disappointing concert. I traveled from the east coast to see the struts but couldn't see the stage. AND WHO has tv monitors at a venue like this? I have been to other venues such as this and no matter where you are on the floor, you can see. I don't recommend this place at all unfortunately and if I could give it a negative rating I would. Just not very well thought out I suppose.

An older female security guard, not checking bags, and not with a clear view of myself and my daughter, could NOT wait to tell us that the mini back packs we were carrying would not be allowed into the venue. We weren't even in line yet to get in, we were still walking up to the venue. She wasn't even the one dealing with patrons, there were two other male security officers who were. It seemed like she just couldn't wait to butt in, be rude, show no empathy and the proceed to tell us we should "hide" our bags somewhere around the outdoor complex, which has multiple bars and restaurants and considerable foot traffic. I mean, what's her problem?

Apparently the venue has a new bag policy, but no facility to check in bags if you're not aware of this new policy. We just walked through Downtown Disney, through security, had no issue with our mini, YES, mini backpacks but at this place, it's too dangerous to take a Harry Potter ladies backpack and a coach backpack into the venue. Ridiculous. Here to see a show and couldn't get in. Even though they have a bag check AND a walk through security detector. Again, ridiculous.

My husband had to walk all the way back through Downtown Disney, through security with our ominous bags, where the car was parked, only to catch the last 15 minutes of the show. Night ruined.

Staff was not empathetic at all. Just pointed to the sign at the front door (a bit late and useless if you're just showing up at the venue for a fun night) and then their website where their new policy is.

Guys, we had tickets to a show. We didn't get them through the venue's website. So we had no idea.

Night completely ruined. Stay away. Rude staff on security particularly the older white lady and head white security guard.

Cool concert venue located in the GardenWalk. Came here recently to watch lovelytheband and Beach Weather, and I liked the overall layout since there was a slightly elevated section around the main pit with railings that shorter people could stand on and see. There are paid couch seats on the second story available as well. They provided two hour parking validation slips at the end of the night as you headed out. The Garden Walk parking garage is the closest parking and convenient street parking isn’t available. There were plenty of restrooms and they have white claws/liquid deaths/beers and food available for purchase. There are TV screens on each side of the stage for those in the back.

One of the worst concert venues I have ever been in. The only plus was the acoustics. The place is poorly designed, with a large floor area that everyone crams in like sardines to see whatever said band is playing. We saw Social Distortion and it was incredibly crowded, which was expected but it was too crowded and not safe. It was my first and last time at the new HOB Anaheim. Too bad they had to move from Downtown Disney because that venue rocked.

I went to the House of Blues after work and planned to have a good time at the concert. I was outside hitting a vape, not even in the venue yet when Tony and Carner approached me and asked if I had a wristband. I didn’t. They made me leave and I didn't get to see the performer. I was polite, didn't cause any trouble. I've never been kicked out of a venue before. Definitely won't go back and I kind of feel they stole money from me since they didn't refund the ticket. It really felt like the bouncers was on a power trip.

Came here to grab a bite to eat before seeing Eli Young Band. Service was slow to start but got better. Our food order got lost, but we eventually got our food after asking the host. We were comped tickets even though we already had tickets. When we went into the venue we made our way to the front and were met by several angry people who had apparently waited a long time to see the band even though they had no idea who the band was. Wish I could upload a video.

Attended the Go Go's concert on Monday, March 28, 2022. Go Go's were great! Venue was overcrowded and extremely unsafe. People pushing and shoving the entire concert. Do not recommend House of Blues for concerts. Very disappointing.

Service was slow and I was surprised by the spices. Music, which I thought might be too loud, was pleasant and not obtrusive. Was awkward as they wouldn't seat us before we were all there, and it was a group of 30!. Just a few minutes in the bar, and the others were there. I had the barbecue beans as my side, and didn't care for the spice.
