We visited Goldfield Ghost town and were disappointed. Having been to authentic ghost towns in the past, this is not what we expected. We took the ‘train’ ride expecting the guide to give us information on the area and site, but got very little. Everything...More

Wasn't sure what to expect but my husband and I had a fun day here. Filled with western charm, with re-enactments with characters in period garb. Great for kids and adults. No entrance fee. There are restaurants, gift and ice cream shops. You can take...More

Stopped at Goldfield and enjoyed the great western atmosphere. The saloon burgers were great, as well as the prickly pear margaritas! The cast of characters that did the western skit were a hoot! Do not forget to check out the museum, great information!

We were visiting relatives in the area and they brought us here on our way to Tortilla Flat for a day trip. The ride was beautiful and Goldfield didn't disappoint. I loved seeing all of the old buildings, tools and mining equipment. I enjoyed the...More

Beautiful period buildings. Lots of good things to eat and see. Ice cream parlors, steak house, and a bakery with coffee. Mine shaft tour and train ride. Mystery house reminds me of Knotts Berry Farms one

Loved the atmosphere!! Fun time looking around and taking photos. The hourly gun shoot out show was the best part!! We ate at the saloon food was hot and fresh. A lot of things were an extra cost so we opted for the train ride....More

My husband and I took our 5 year old and also met up with extended family. Our group had an age range of 5-70 years old. Each one of us had a great time. Very beautiful setting and fun way to experience the Old West!

This place is absolutely awesome! I wanted the old west ghost town experience, and i wasn’t disappointed. There’s so much to do here, it’s an all day experience. We panned for gold, took a train ride, a mine tour, and ate in the saloon. All...More

We stopped here on our way back from Tortilla Flat. Very unique place. Not a place for anybody confined to a wheelchair ( even a walker would be tough ). Many things to see or do; we especially liked the gunfight on the main street....More

The pic itself I think was about $40-45, but I got copies (parents) as well as a very western frame. (Weathered wood, barbed wire and a horse shoe). So the actual cost was kind of lost in the total, lol. I was on a roll... More

I think 2-3 hours is more than sufficient as suggested by others. You can shorten the time if you opt out of the train ride which circumnavigates the town itself. The narrative on the train about the gold mining that went... More
