Among the historic streets, manicured gardens and Victorian row houses of DC’s finest neighborhood lie deep, dark secrets about a forgotten past. Come along to hear about the ghosts and spirits that still haunt these streets…if you dare. Stories of...more

Old Stone House at 3051 M St NW, Washington DC, DC 20002
Enjoyed this tour. Good tour guide. Knew the history and kept us engaged.
Biggest issue is that Georgetown is pretty active, so the quiet creepy Ghost Tour isn’t what you get. Would be scarier if it were a bit deserted. :)
Overall, still good if...More
Good tour. No sightings, but lots of great stories. All outside. Chelsea was super knowledgeable about houses and told the story of many reportedly haunted houses with great enthusiasm. The tour moves at a pretty good pace and covers a lot of ground. My teen...More
My friends and I loved this tour and our tour guide. The stories were engaging and just creepy enough to keep us on our toes. It was a great way to see Georgetown at night with some cool historical information and lots of great ghost...More
My boyfriend & I have a tradition of checking out ghost tours in every new city we visit. Ghost tours in general are such a great way to get a "lay of the land" as well as learn some local folklore. Megan guided our tour...More
We have done many ghost tours in many cities. It is something we love to do.
We figured Georgetown would be a great place to try one.

We really enjoy the Ghosts of Georgetown tour. It is incredibly well done and well run.
The only downside? Georgetown is so busy that it is hard to get a spooky feeling. We’ve done ghost tours in Harpers Ferry and a few other places that...More
I went on this tour because 1) it was cheap, 2) killed time, and 3) would give me a structured activity to see Georgetown. So, the ghost angle really wasn't a draw for me. That said, I really did enjoy the tour and the easy-going...More

Hi Jake, officially there is no metro in Georgetown but the start of the tour - the Old Stone House - is about a 15 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom/GWU station on the Blue/Orange/Silver lines. Its a very safe neighborhood and you'll be amongst many folks walking to Georgetown from that station. The end of the tour is equidistant back to Foggy Bottom or to Rosslyn and the guide will point you in the right direction to help you get back!
