Well, Kenny Garrett quintet + Blues Alley is a fantastic combination. The club is pretty well located in Georgetown and it’s amazing. The show was superb, we paid USD 40 per person and worth every dollar. The food was ok, a little bit expensive. If...More

This was our second visit to Blues Alley. The seating is tight. The food is good. The service is great. The entertainment is outstanding. We attended the Kenny Garrett Quintet concert on April 14, 2018. Wow! The only problem was no room to dance. I...More

The artist ‘Kendra Foster’ was amazing but everything else was extremely disappointing. The food was tasteless & the service was half hearted. The policy about no photos is duplicitous because a dozen people were taking photos (apparently because they were given permission) - have these...More

I had been to Blues Alley years ago. Loved it then and truly love my recent visit. It was a date night and it certainly was a wonderful date. Atmosphere, food, service, and show were all superb. Looking to visit again in the near future.

My 17yo son and I took a short trip to DC the week before Christmas. I wanted him to hear live music in a venue we don’t have at home. We saw the 10pm show. The food was ok but the memory of listening to...More

Consistently one of the best jazz (and blues) venues in town. Well known local, regional, national and international musicians play here. Acoustics are great where ever you sit. Don't order the food. You will be disappointed.

We came to the late show after already having had dinner and drinks. So having to spend $12/person on food and drinks was the reason why it didn't get 5/5. Also, the bread pudding wasn't that great, nor was the jambalaya. My scotch was good....More
