I will never book another spa appointment here. I booked a 90 min massage with a specific therapist . AFTER I had checked in with the front desk, used the steam-room and showers and returned for the massage, the same desk assistant tells me my therapist isn't there and they have another one who can take me. The alternative was a therapist I asked specially not to be with. This is the second time this has happened here. Today's experience was unacceptable and I left.

This spa used to be run so effectively and professionally. The spa could have called in advance, or I could have been told when I checked in. This place is past it's prime. Take your business elsewhere.

I am so impressed with all the services offered. The atmosphere is tranquil and the staff is so friendly. I took my mom and my sisters. They booked us all the same day!! We booked everything on line and got a confirmation - they were ready for all of us. My sister switched to a Signature Facial and they said no problem! She looked glowy and relaxed and said she really enjoyed it. My mom is very hard to please and she loved her Reflexology session with Dalcizio. He was so sweet and she said he really relieved some of her leg swelling from traveling to DC. I got a Deep Tissue massage from Christina. She was so nice and let me relax into the massage without straining to chat me up. My other sister got the Swedish Massage and loved it. All four services were excellent and we all left happy. This is my go spa now!!

This is the best facial I've ever experience. Friendly staff, great facility and overall amazing experience. Not your typical hotel spa. Super serene and peaceful. Friendly staff. They offered me water as soon as I arrived. It's located in the Hilton next to Mint gym but is very quiet and relaxing.

Andrea game me my facial and was super nice and gave me the most relaxing experience. She told me about what worked for my skin and what could be harming it but was very pleasant and not lecturing. She was super gentle and professional. I loved the facial and the massage of my neck, arms and hands. I did not like the extraction - my pores are at fault for that not her!

My skin was glowing by the end and I didn't have any sensitivity on my problem areas where she needed to do extractions. My skin feels amazing. I would definitely do this again to treat myself!

I had a great experience getting a massage at Skin Alchemy recently. I visited the spa after learning that my favorite masseuse in the entire DC area, Ana, had relocated there, She gives a fantastic massage and the spa itself was very clean and professional. Don't hesitate to give it a try!

Just now had the deep tissue massage. Anna is very skilled and her techniques were very effective in alleviating my overall body & tight muscles.

The skin technician tried to sell me on additional projects throughout the facial. I hate this! She not only lets you know that your skin is aging (I'm 52 but with good, olive complexion) and desperately needs a "peel" (nothing else she could do) but then proceeds to hard sell it. It was uncomfortable! Then she started doing extractions without asking first. Definitely not the best facial I've ever had.
The owner is also a bit strange - conducting her business on her personal cell and accusing me (by calling my friend!) of not showing up for an appointment that I never made. Never going back there!

I enjoyed my massage but there was no steam room or sauna in the locker area. I had a hard time figuring out the lock on the locker and there was no staff to help me. There was no one at the reception area so I had to call them on my cell phone to get them to welcome me. This seemed very odd for a high end property. They need to make some upgrades to make this a premium experience.
