Regretfully I didn't get to the cells; however the free exhibition is good. A lot of reading, but good. Also a brilliant AV with interviews of people who were interrogated. Though much simpler, much better than the House of Terror in Budapest.

The guided tour is a must for people still finding anything good in dictatorial regimes. The guide‘s matter-of-fact way of presenting the horrors of how people were destroyed inside this place made the experience even more palpable. Thank you so much for the tour and...More

Guide took us through it all and was great at telling the stories behind it how a KGB office was used in Riga.

The exhibition itself is free but well worth the fiver for the tour around the cells. Don’t go if your worried it’s going to be depressing. Of course it’s not a light-hearted exhibition. It is what it is, but it’s an insightful and fascinating part...More

The tour for 5 Euros was a bargain. The tour guide was very informative and was able to provide the guests with very interesting facts and figures relating to the Soviet occupation of Latvia. Interesting history on the KGB and how they operated in Riga...More
