The church is very nice, but we went there for the tower to see the whole city. With 9€ per person this was quite expensive, even quite expensive for Cologne Dom standards. The view from the tower presents you the whole city.

I belong to a choir and on my visits was looking for potential venues for a 40th anniversary tour in 2019. Smaller than the Dom, but much more intimate especially for a small group. No distance from the centre.

This brick built church is dramatic, with its origins in C13. It forms the centre of the Riga skyline. It is possible to go up the tower, at extra cost

Beautiful church but you need to get tickets to to go in. Also it's an active church so can be uncomfortable to look inside when there are people actually praying and service in progress. From outside it looks very tall. If you are in Riga...More

St Peter looms over all other buildings in Old Riga. You can taqke an elevator to the top - well worth the view of all of Riga.

While the interior of this church is a little plain, by some standards, the history or it is very interesting and the viewing platform (accessible by a lift which goes inside the steeple) is well worth the time to visit
