The best place to take an over view of the old town. The elivator runs every 10 minutes so reserve time. There are other tourists also.

The church itself is pretty but the real draw is the view from the steeple. The views are absolutely spectacular. With a quick elevator ride you are rewarded with a 360 degree view of Riga and the surrounding area.

Go early if it is clear. The view was amazing!! Great art/textile exhibit inside the church, too. A must do in Riga.

For under 10 euros you get a ticket to see the observation deck scenery and the church. Nice exhibition downstairs and the elevator up runs every 10 minutes.

The views are of the entire city of Riga and if done near the end of your trip, it’s fun working out where you’ve been and recognising so much from that height. The church itself and especially access to the viewing tower is a bit...More

Went up to the top of st Peters church and the views are spectacular however the small lift to take people up and the restricted viewing area makes it a little uncomfortable but it is worthwhile just expect a wait to get up.

The church tower was rebuild in the 70's,after being destroyed in the 2nd world war. As a result, this church tower has a lift, which takes you directly to the viewing platform. The platform is not that high, but as it is located inside the...More

There are about 5 easy flights of stairs at the bottom then a lift up to the second level from the top of the church. You are approx. 100 metres above ground and the Church itself is 123 metres high. the viewing platform is very...More
