I would recommend visiting this informative museum, which is perfect for colder days as the exhibits are inside (except for the glass memorial wall with inscribed names.) Coat check was free and security only took a minute. We went in a Saturday and the cafe...More

Very humbling. English translation throughout, discount for students and elderly, wheelchair friendly, normal entry 1400 HUF, walk round at your own pace, chair stations if you want to take a seat for reflection

My partner and I went to this museum as we are both very interested in History. This was a fantastic museum, with both huge quantities of information (very good translations available too) and a real feel for Hungarian History surrounding the Jewish and Roma people....More

I will highly recommend to visit this very important and very informative place. It describes in details from the start, to the end of a very sad time in history. A must for future generations, to see what can happen if we blame groups of...More

We were a bit disappointed with the memorial center. We arrived an hour before closing so they would not give us the audio guide even though an hour would have been easily sufficient. Lots of reproduced articles and photos and not all with english translation...More

Overall it was very informative. A lot of reading to do. Not suitable for young children as there is nothing much to see in the exhibition. A lot of reading, listening to audio clips and watching video clips. There is a discount for senior citizens...More

This was everything I had expected. Well presented and informative displays covering this shocking episode of humans at our worst. You have to work at taking it all in but that is only right in my view. I 100% recommend this.

This was our first visit to any kind of memorial to the holocaust, and it was a real eye opener. While we all grew up learning about the holocaust, visiting this place was something else. The exhibition is highly informative, brutal at times, and harrowing...More

This was a great museum, which provided so much understanding and clarity from a Hungarian point of view. Its emotional, hard hitting and all the things you would expect but you need to go. Having visited Poland and Germany this was a must and I...More
