This was free with the Budapest 72hr travel card. It was very interesting not too cold, around 11 degrees but be warned you have to climb a very high ladder at one point. It took around 30 minutes on the bus but it is worth...More

Price per child 1,100 FT, adult price for adult 1,400 FT. A guided tour that takes about an hour and 10 minutes. A fascinating tour for children and nice for adults. In the cave the temperature drops to 10 degrees so it is recommended to...More

It was alright! We recommend NOT walking to the caves as it is a very long up hill walk. Caves were okay, mostly in Hungarian but the tour guide tried to involve English speakers too! Beautiful caves, worth a trip if you have time!

The cave itself is really interesting. Not tipical cave with corridors and chambers. It is tight and narrow, so not good for those with claustrophobia. I felt like in labyrinth. We went left, right, up, down, around the corners ... Although cave system is cca...More

Nice cave-medium size. There are just a few stalagmites, but there are many hollow narrow spaces nicely lit that make the visit a nice experience. They also put a song to hear the good acoustic of the cave. The ticket is around 3 euro.

10°C in the cave, so warm clothing is necessary! It was beautiful and informative, definitely worth the visit.

Not to large, but not to small. There are even some fossils to see. Bring warmer clothes because it's colder inside. And be prepared you'll get a little dirty, water is dripping on some places, and you'll probably scrub yourself on a cave :) And...More

We visited the cave in the summer inside was very cold 11°c and outside 36°c. For the kids was very adventurous trip. The walk inside has medium difficulty with a lot of stairs and even ladder, sometime very narrow passages. The cave is not recommended...More

Hello, the tour that we took was very hard and any children under 10 years couldn't be there so I recommend to get a babysitter for the little one while you are at the caves.

No checking as far as saw. I think it might just be to ensure people are physically fit enough as it is quite a workout involving crawling, climbing, shuffling etc. I did it with bursitis on one of my knees. It was still... More
