A beautiful statue. It can be seen from a lot of parts of the city so a trip to the base of it is a must. Once up there you will get fantastic views of the city and Danube river below.

We went up the steepest part of the attraction and it was knackering. The view is super and the statue is huge. There are also little market stands near the Citadella.

We visited both on the day and night hip on top off tours. The views of the city are breathtaking, particularly at night. There is a little bit of walking up the last bit of the hill, but it is so worth it.

I walked up the steep Gellert Hill close to Elizabeth Bridge. There is also the Citadel up there and the Liberation Monument to see. Well worth a visit. Fantastic views.

This hill has numerous paths and routes through it, with lovely mature trees and shrubs. Birdsong surrounds you and there are benches at certain points and viewpoints along the way. It can be a little strenuous for those not used to any exercise but it...More

This is not an easy place to get to, you need a car to get there. But, the view from there is beautiful & worth it. You not only get to see the city of Pest but also its suburbs & beyond.

Not sure on the fee but there must be a way to drive up because as I came over the hill (huffing and puffing while dripping in sweat) there were people who were just casually strolling around that hadn’t broken a sweat. Ask... More
