It looks way better from the surroundings, than from the inside . And try to find free place around, because paid area is small and doesn't have anything interesting inside, at least today. Great views of the city (Parliament!) though, especially at night.

Astonishing view of the city. We were there around 8pm on Thursday and not too many people. It is easy to get there by bus # 16 .

You can walk around on your own. I'm not sure about tours available, but I saw a small building that was offering information. It was down the street from Matthias, and across the street from some restaurants.

hello there is no need to buy tickets . and there are 2 options to go up with charge . and 1 option to go up by foot there are stairs just across the road

I recommend buying a transit pass. they are inexpensive and cover all the metro, trams and buses. there is a bus that stops at the square where the Fisherman's Bastion is located. We bought a 72 hour pass and it worked very... More
