A beautiful building where you can taste the waters both hot and cold and get few souvenirs. A superb ice cream parlour as well as patisserie, serving stunning cakes and delicious coffee.

This is a must when you are in town like that. You need to taste their mineral, healing water. Here you pay but you can find at least one place in Polanica with water for free.

Although it has a slight metallic taste due to the high level of iron in the water, it's supposed to be very healthy for you. For 1,50PLN, paid at the counter, you get a plastic cup and the right to drink the water. Worth doing.

Try the thermal waters, they have a very special taste and they are very healthy for a number of different ailments.

The whole town is famous for these springs...although I wasn't a massive fan - the taps only provide cold sparkling or hot still water! Doesn't seem to make sense for a natural spring, but still an essential part of the town's charm.

Altheide Spa seems to be grand and not lacking anything in the outbreak of early 20th century, and has preserved some of the charm. Seems like Mr Marple or Puarot should be around the corner.

A quick visit to taste the water. The place is kept very warm which is a welcone change from the winter cold outside. You can walk around and buy souvenirs. You have to pay for the pleasure of tasting the water though..
