From the moment you step out of the elevator, the view is mesmerizing. We visited the tower with dinner on the 53rd floor. Entry is 700 baht per person for March 2024. We chose a very good time, we came at about 17.30 when about 10% of the tables by the window were occupied. You could easily take a bunch of photos and choose your own food at the buffet. Closer to 18.30, a lot of Chinese tourists came running and there were almost no places, they filled the entire buffet so much that many could not even pour themselves water. And of course there was enough noise from them. So, choose a time to visit early to enjoy the views and delicious food.

The hotel is cool, located in a quiet place, close to markets and shops where you can have a tasty snack in the evening. Good and varied breakfasts. Large and beautiful area.
During the day they often bring tourists for the day, to the water park, the tower.
The view from the room was gorgeous, the number of rooms was also not bad.
When we were there, there were a lot of Chinese, especially when they were brought to the water park for the day, they came out to the beach in crowds, there was no crowd in the sea, they were with their inflatable circles.

In general, we liked everything, we would definitely come to this hotel again.

Pattaya Park tower , is a must do for everybody in thailand. The cost of the Tower entry is 300 baht . You take a lift ride to the 55th floor where there is a large viewing hall . YOu get a 360' view of the entire Pattaya and Jomtein beach area . Here you also get a free coffee / soft drink of your choice . Then you make your way up to the 57th floor . Here there are 3 options to get back to ground level . The most thrilling one is the tower jump , in which you are strapped onto a harness and then Zip line at a controlled speed , the most adventurous option . The 2nd is the Speed shuttle in which 2 people stand up in a capsule and it carries you down . the 3rd option is the easiest and recommended for families and children , in which you sit inside a capsule car and then carried down . The sky jump is a must do for the brave . At the end of the ride you can get you photo clicked for 150 baht each . There are also a few restaurants on the 52/53/54 floor . I believe the buffet is good and for around 350 - 400 baht , but check up before you arrive . You can keep your bags / camera at the ticket counter for free , but i saw a few people also riding down the Sky jump with their bags strapped on to them !

We thought we would go and experience and fine dining evening at the revolving restaurant on the 52nd floor. Having taken a taxi to the other side of town we arrived in an area that can only be described as resembling a holiday centre circa '70's from the communist era. That may account for the wholly Russian tourist base to be found in that area. It cost 600Bht (£12) for the elevator up and the buffet meal. This was nothing other than a poor oriental buffet which we struggled with in finding anything suitable to eat and warm. There was a choice of two soups and other items of very poor quality. The price included a drink which was dispensed (self service) from slush puppy type machine with froth in the machine above the liquid. IN SHORT ..... find smewhere else to eat. Poor location, poor food and a waste of time and money

Concrete, ugly, dirty, and over priced - and those are the best bits about this hotel and "attraction". A holiday nightmare !

Spotted the tower from our hotel balcony. Had planned to take family to "flight of the gibbon" but ran out of time (its a full day trip) So when we saw people zip lining down from tower decided to give it a try.

Took a tuk tuk up to the base where you buy your tickets. At the base you do NOT need to decide how you will get down- you can just buy a 200THB ticket to get to observation deck on level 55. On level 55 they will sell you the extra 200 THB to come down not in the lift but in one of 3 other ways if you choose.

So to clarify- you can go up and down in the lift and just spend time in observation deck for 200 THB per person ( kids under 80 cm free). No child price- same as adult.
The observation deck is air conditioned and has great views. This ticket includes a (terrible) free glass of iced tea, orange cordial or coffee. Our whole group skipped them entirely. Not well maintained but you are there to look around, not to eat or hang so not such a big issue. Beware the ants crawling all over the window sills- they bite.

There are 3 other ways down. Any will cost an extra 200 THB per person ( so total 400THB). All leave from level 56 ( steep stairs take you up from level 55)

1. By zipline. 99.9 % of people do this. Its a production line where the wait can be long. To know how long the wait can be - about 1 person per minute comes down this way. They have a digital display showing who is being harnessed. You collect a ticket from the desk on this level to join the queue. They will write your number on it. About 15 people with harness waiting to go down. It was quite scary- but as most people have said- only for the first 2 seconds. Near the bottom they do snap a photo and take a video. These you buy for an additional 150 THB each at the little desk after you collect your harness. Your photo will be displayed on a tv screen above the desk.
To zipline you must weigh a minimum of 45 kg and a max of 125 kg. Minimum height was 1.2 m. This eliminated all of our kids under 8 by the weight criteria. No refunds are given and at the base they do a hard sell to get that extra 200THB- so if in doubt- don't be pressured- as I said there is another desk selling the extra ticket on the deck.

2. Two person cage (I think they call it speed line or something similar). This is a stand up cage where two people go down together- they must be of SIMILAR weights - they will weigh you at the top. If you do not have a friend etc with you that fits this description this pretty much rules out this option as maybe 0.1% of people elect to do this so finding a random buddy isn't likely.

3. Cabin down - this is an option everyone can do. However- on our day anyway- despite buying the ticket for this for the kids- they told us at top that it was closed. Nobody uses it. When we insisted on refunds they decided to open it. Be warned that this option ends a good 10 minute walk away at the back of the water park. So make sure you have a meeting point if group splits up. And make sure that you have got a ticket for the zipline queue if it is busy before you send the kids down- otherwise they end up waiting for an hour in the heat with no where to go that has air con whilst they wait for you ( this is what happened to us)...

Overall- it was fun and seemed safe enough. Hundreds if not thousands of people zipline down daily so chances are no issues! Good fun for 1-2 hrs. Tuk tuks at bottom wait around for you to negotiate with to get you back to wherever.

The tower is located on a small hill near Central Pattaya. Where you'll get a good view of pattaya. The entry is 400 THB (increased from 300 THB w.e.f 1st Nov) which is worthless except the Tower Jump activity.

If there is any gap in your itinerary, this can be used as a filler.

Great view of Pattaya from the top of this tower, but disappointing that the entry fee is higher for foreigners than for Thais. Also it's quite shabby inside so despite the great view it's not a great place to spend too much time, They could make this attraction much, much more appealing. You can come back down in a cable car or two people can come down together on a cable, which was quite good fun.

Worst 'attraction' I have ever visited. We went to the tower restaurant for lunch which is a disgusting Buffett of inedible food. We stayed for 20 mins and left as even the park looked diserted, old and somewhere I did not to spend my time in.

Just back from buffet- 600baht for foreigner so expected something good. Food was awful--all cold, no signs on the food so no idea what it was. Roast duck and chicken all stone cold, cold nuggets, juices were strong hideous cordials, dessert basically fruit only and ice cream. Rolls were maybe 4 days old (very hard), they even managed to ruin the spring rolls and satay sticks! A kid broke a glass and we had to pay for it. The waiters were slow and didn't clear the tables, the usher was damn rude to another group and I was so angry I wanted to complain on behalf of the other people-- he would be sacked instantly in a western country for his rudeness!!! Place lacks any sort of class- concrete floors, dirty surroundings, sloppy waiters and cleaners, very unfriendly staff- even the Thais in our group were disappointed with the thai food--- that really says something too! Would rather we had a 40baht kebab on the street it would have been nicer! View is nice but reflections on glass so bad you can barely enjoy it. Really not worth the cash! Disappointed group of ten :-(
