If you’re looking to just boogie board or just have some lunch while seated by the grass looking out at the water- this is it. If you’re looking to spend the day under a palm tree with your toes in the sand this ain’t it. The beach is completely eroded and it’s just water contained by a 4ft cliff next to a 4’ wife pedestrian road next to grass property of hotels and abandoned restaurants. We drove in and drove out. Was stunning to look at.

Playa Bonita has the most wonderful beaches suitable for all family members. If you like playing in the surf, or surfing the waves on a surfboard or boogie board or just snorkeling in a quiet shallow lagoon, Playa Bonita has it all. And after spending the day enjoying the beach you can enjoy a wonderful meal at the resort dining area. Best pîna colada in the area!

This is a gorgeous beach, but much of the sand at the Punta Bonita end has disappeared and a seawall is under construction. Happily, just around the corner is Playa Coson with more beautiful views and plenty of sand.

Safe and fun beach, water is magnificent and the people are nice and friendly. There are many options for restaurants and activities. Easy to get to. There is public parking but I recommend pulling into a hotel and using their facilities
