Spent the night at Edith Falls on the beginning of our travelling, such a pretty place and we were so glad to see the Falls are still running as it nearing the dry. We got up early and went for a dip, the water was...More
A trek up to the falls meant you are ready for a swim in the beautiful cool water when you get there. Another trek down and you are at the lower pool which is again a beautiful place to swim. The kiosk offered great food...More
Had to get some tyres replaced in Katherine. Spoke to the guys at beaurepairs who recommended Edith Falls. They did say, don't swim in the bottom pool take the short walk to the upper pools. They were right. Magnificent. They said that Sweetwater hole was...More

The falls are short, but spectacular...More

It is a good walk, went to the middle pool about a 3k round trip, easy track to follow for medium fitness, we had 3 small kids and an elderly person, but had no trouble, we took it easy, scenery and the pool was worth the climb, the top pool would have been good, but allow extra time, take water, and leave early in the morning so not climblng in the heat of the day, coming down when hot is not as bad as climbing up, can stop for rests on the way down, a beautiful area, well worth the visit, the climb is a loop so a good walk up and a different walk down.
