Despite the advertised opening hours, this place is definitely not open.
Maybe it only operates in the cooler months?
Who can tell?
Perhaps that’s the mystery of this “Grotto of the Nymphs”...

The Grotte Dell ninfe is a thermol pool of water that comes from natural springs. The water is loaded with natural minerals that not only heal many skin conditions,it clears up most aches and pain in muscles in the body. The water is also high in sulfur, which is extremely healthy for the body! It had been also said to be well know for PTSD.

Big dissapointment. Run down, shut down. No water in the basins. Why is it not saying anywhere that it is out of order?! Big waste of time, don't come here!!

If you are in southern Italy, go here! It's a hidden gem and a likely a new experience if you are American. Our Italian relatives took us here and the whole family had a great time and left rejuvenated!

If you wanna get all green and slimy and, as a side effect, get soft skin, this is the place. Also, admittance price is fair (6 euro for a whole day, 35 for a full week).

Basic service, restrooms are ok and clean. It would be nice to find something better to eat and drink at the bar.

While visiting an italian friend in the non touristy area of Calabria..Trebisacce. We took a ride up the mountain to this spa. What a treat! We were lucky because it was September and the place was almost empty. But is a natural hot spring sulphur water cave which services the water for a large pool. The mud coating..baking it dry while lying on the warm stone pavement and then showering off in the outdoor showers...then into the sulphur pool probably made me more relaxed than I have been in months. A restuarant next door on the hill with a wonderful view has simple delicious local food. Highlly recommend this site and continue on up the mountain to the rustic and beautiful Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Armi.
