This place need to be visit. Beautiful, peaceful. The view from the Monastery is impressive. You can see the main town. Also there is a funny little zoo.

Beautiful monastery, with fantastic views and very polite priests and staff. Outside the church there are a lot of animals. A lot of people make a stop before go to the beach.

The walk from Lefkada town up the hill is well worth it, for the views out over Lefkada and the bay alone, a beautiful, well kept, pristine monastery with beautiful gardens and animals, lovely church with amazing paintings and icons

This is incredible beautiful and pleasant place to visit in Lefkada. This monastery is really worth visiting. It has mini zoo, kids loved red fishes. I will go there again next month. Wanted to find information if it is possible to baptize a child here...More

We went in the morning. Not sure of opening hours. They might close lunchtime then i would think they are open Put your question on tripadviser Lefkada forum you are sure to get a definate answer. Fab views from up there... More
