I went to visit the castle in the late July 2018. And the place was gorgeous (like almost everything in this region)! Can’t recall the weekday, but anyways the castle closed super early (4-6pm) so you should totally check the opening hours before going there!...More

We visited the Castello with friends from Parma. Overall, it's an interesting place, but there are so many interesting places in the region this doesn't really stand out. The views are great and the Castello has some interesting history. Worth a visit if you are...More

What a castle not easy to find it. Inside there is nothing, it is more a view and contest of the parma hills.

Not the biggest castle I've ever seen, but definitely among the most interesting. Despite its small size, you find yourself spending a long time admiring the amazing wall and ceiling paintings. You park at the bottom of the hill, but it's an easy hike up,...More

We went on a guided tour of the Castle. I was glad that we did a guided tour because the story of the Castle is fabulous and I would have missed that if I toured the castle on my own. The castle is well preserved...More
