About
Ferraris Agricola is Luca Ferraris, leading the family winery: an entrepreneurial vision of the territory in the name of his great passion for Ruchè. 300,000 bottles produced, more than half of which is Ruchè, distributed in the main international markets. A point of reference for Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG in the world, the pride of a rediscovered denomination, the fruit of that countryside glory that has remodeled the hills of Monferrato.

We toured the production line and wine cellars, had a taste of four wines with cheese and nibbles would highly recommend this tour if you are in the area, the surrounding countryside is beautiful too. Decided to have some wine shipped home, excellent service wine delivered in under a week even though for us in England it was a Bank Holiday weekend. Very securely packaged too. Now looking forward to our wines and happy memories of our holiday in the region.

I was really amazed by the quality of the wines offered at this winery. The Ruché grape is such a unique variety and was completely unknown to me. Wine quality is good and prices are reasonable. We left with 15 bottles to bring back home to France. Good English spoken by the tasting room team.

We caught a local bus from Asti to Castagnole Monferrato which was a great way to see
more of the countryside and other small villages. An informative look at an old traditional winery. Luigi spoke Italian so need a translator. We were a small group with a leader who translated for us. The generous wine tasting and the local cheeses were great. A pity we had to carry our luggage all the time so couldn't but any of the delicious wine.
After this tour we had a wonderful lunch nearby at La Miraja -great food and more great local wine

My boyfriend and I spent a lovely Saturday afternoon in this winery: we toured the production site and the wine cellar, as well as tasting many different types of wine. Not only their much famed Ruché in different vintages, but also a lovely, fruity white and the Barbera Superiore. All wines were wonderful, and they were paired with delicious cheese and salami platters. To top it all off, the girl who accompanied us on the tour, Emanuela, was really nice and informative.

After seeing the old cellars and hearing about the traditional ways of harvesting the grapes from Luigi we got to taste 4 different wines from the vineyard. This was accompanied with delicious local cheese and salami and the experience was great. We wanted to take some away but shipping proved too costly for us which was a shame. Luigi spoke Italian do you would need a translator or travel with a group. A great activity with welcoming hosts.

We visited the Ferraris Agricola with a group of 23 and it was a fantastic experience. Luca was in Switzerland at the time, so his wife took us around the winery. She was a great tour guide, giving us the full history of the company, and showing us around both current and old parts of the winery. We had lunch at the old winery and it was delicious! She took us out to the vineyard and the views were stunning. Absolutely recommend it.

Friendly people and delicious wine! Well informed staff. An excellent tasting. The tasting was at the cantina outside of town. The Rucche here is amazing. Also, they have moscato spumante, which was great. Highly recommended for those who want a good sampling of the wines of castagnole monferrato

Our visit to this old and very picturesque vineyard was absolutely delightful. All of the wines we tasted were extremely good. The owners were charming, generous and most informative. There was so much to learn. The countryside blew your socks off. I loved this place.
