We really enjoyed our visit as this is a spectacular building, but really didn't get the best out of it as we speak very little Spanish, and even though we were the only people on the tour the guide only spoke Spanish, and we had...More

Enjoyed a walk around this monastery in the sunshine. Very interesting building. We did not venture inside though. In lovely countryside beside the hotel we stayed in - El Lagar de Isilla

Visits are only available as a guided tour and these are delivered in Spanish. However, they have a somewhat curtailed English translation on paper, so the Padre just says the number he's up to and you can read the relevant info describing what you're looking...More

It was a casual visit, we didn't expect to find so valuable remains in this unknokwn Monastery. The Father explained us every single detail during the tour. We were delighted. It's highly recommended to visit Santa Maria De la Vid Monastery.
