Flytoget 190 NOK (one way) is much more expensive than NSB train (101 NOK) but more reliable and comfortable. Many NSB trains were canceled on our way back to the airport.

You will find suggestions all over the place that you should save money by getting the normal train. Ignore them. The flytoget is beautiful, fast, clean and with lots of luggage space. And it goes far more frequently. And the times I was on it...More

An example of our travel to the Oslo Airport - Our Hotel was a 2 minute walk from Central Station, it took about 30 seconds to buy the ticket we then had an 8 minute wait for the train and the trip took 17 minutes...More

Oslo has made life easier for travelers to travel to and from the airport to the city center. The 190 NOK ride (each way) is worth it for a less than 30 min ride. There is a cheaper version for 93 NOK (the NSB train)...More

There two different trains connecting Oslo with Gardemoen airport. Flytoget is the fastest one. Price is higher than in regular train but in 20-25 min you will come there.

By far travel way between the airport and central Oslo. It is expensive, and local trains are only half the price. However the local NSB trains run at an irregular time-schedule, are often delayed, and very often cramped. The airport express train has power outlets...More

For almost twice the price you can get to/from the airport to Oslo S station. You save about 4-5 minutes. The NSB trains are just as reliable with maybe one extra stop than the Flytoget.

Never be in doubt, the airport express train "Flytoget" is the best way to arrive and depart Oslo (or all the way from Drammen). Could allow for later departure, but that's the only negative. No reason to take a taxi - spend the money on...More

I think this was my easiest airport transfer for a big city. You can buy ticket in the luggage carousel area (or just use CC to enter and exit the ticket gates). It was comfortable and had plenty of room for luggage. I haven't used...More

Flytoget is twice as expensive as NSB and only three minutes faster,so go NSB and save your money! Friendly conductor,or host, but no reasono pay that much more for so little. NSB has only one stop. Only during rushhours does NSB have standingroom only.
