This place is a small house that is set in the middle of an industrial estate. This building is to do with the knights Templar and that they stayed there. Has some interesting facts.

Visited the manor by off chance, a great place to visit and you can walk around, a nicely preserved little piece of history surrounded unfortunately by industrial units/businesses. Defiantly worth a visit to learn more about the local history and the Knights Templar

Very badly signposted for such an interesting building. It is in the development stage so should be really super in a year or so. Nevertheless there were enough 'info. cards' to explain each area.

A very nice and hugely significant site. It's such a pity that the development around the site is so poor. Do visit!

I don't think we would have found this without instructions from the staff at Upnor Castle, but so glad we did. A gem in the midst of an industrial estate, simply presented and free. Lots of information on its history. Glad that it has survived.

This building is hidden away in an industrial site, we actually thought we had taken a wrong turn! It is free to enter and has numerous information boards through the site showing photos of the building over the past 100 or so years, with further...More
