This is a great waterfall site, with stone/sand trails leading up to a beautiful view in a flooded canyon . In some specific paths it is necessary to grab chains and ropes to avoid sliding and there are some wood escalators to access the bathing unit.
The water current allows some safe dives, and there is a 50-100m river path that you can swin against the current to get a shower directly on a fall. Usually there are lifesavers always ready in the bathing unit.

As in other waterfalls I recommend you to be using trek shoes in the tracks, and trek sandals, to protect your feet while getting into water. It helps moving and avoids skin scratches or stones that may harm your feet.

This waterfall is located on a private farm, and it's a better deal to pay to see all 3 waterfalls (Almecegas I, II and one other I can't remember) They are all different and worth the time to see. There are short hikes out to each fall - not super strenuous, but some level of fitness is probably a good idea. All 3 also have areas to swim. The farm has an (expensive) restaurant and hotel, which is truly lovely

This place is wonderful. You can swim in the small natural swimming pool and enjoy the fall. Easy and short trail.
