You have a wonderful view because the monastery stay in a mountain, and you can see the valey below. The building is ingrowing into stone. You have walk to climb the latest 400m but worth.

Only 45-60 minutes from Turin, you get to the Sacra di San Michele, an old fascinating monastery which brings you inside a sort of "Nome della rosa" setting. A must visit to be discovered.

We were amazed by how the church is being built on top of the mountain. Although it was snowing and we can't see the scenery from there, but there is the mysterious beauty of the place.
