The monastery was built right into the stone of the mountain and the stone work is amazing. There is history and legend here but the view over the valley is spectacular.

You have a wonderful view because the monastery stay in a mountain, and you can see the valey below. The building is ingrowing into stone. You have walk to climb the latest 400m but worth.

Wonderful historical monastery! Easily accessed by local train then bus but do check the timetables as these do not run every day.
