Beautiful, serene and despite being well used, this unspoiled wetland on the edge of the Swale separating Faversham from the isle of Sheppey, always seems tranquil. Populated by twitchers, walkers and water gatherers (the natural spring rising from the pump head well seems to attract...More

A great way to relax after a hard days work. Plenty of birds to see and hides to use. The wildlife and plants are all year round of interest

Were blessed with excellent weather which helped. Saw many types of waders, especially black tailed Godwits, and great to see so many Golden Plover. Seals on a bar out at sea, and excellent well water to finish off with!

Very pleasant afternoon stroll. Beautiful scenery with plenty of wildlife on view. I would recommend wearing good walking shoes or boots as the ground is uneven for much of the time.

Great place to spend a couple of hours whether you're into wildlife or not. Free parking and good footpaths, just be prepared for strong breezes.
