We booked a full day of surfing for 7 people and we had an amazing time. Our teacher (Marx) was very professional and very calm, he had us all on the board surfing within an hour, he made sure he kept an eye on everybody and he was a very positive coach. I would highly recommend anyone who is a novice in surfing to book a lesson at Costa Noroeste.

The staff was really friendly when I walked in, so I decided to go surfing with them for a few days. I took a few half day lessons and it turned out to be one of the best decisions on Lanzarote. Marc and Sofie were great surf instructors. They gave me a lot of good tips and I caught some good waves even on the first day, next days were even more awesome :) I look forward to surfing with you guys again :)

We took 2h surfing lesson from the shop with two teenage girls. Teaching was good and we all managed to get on board. Girls had a grear experience! Unfortunately the lesson ended with the little accident (my own fault, nothing to do with company).But the guys were very helpful and manager's wife kindly drove us to the hospital with her car. Better luck next time!

In the last week of December 2017 we rented boards from this surf school and shop. In summary the service was extremely poor and personel were grumpy. As new surfers to this area we were looking for information as to where to surf in the different conditions. There was basically no advice or directions from the surf shop personel. In the end we had to find it out ourselves by asking other surfers. I have rented surf boards all over the world and am used to enthusiastic fellow surfers who are keen to advise on the various surf spots around. Sadly, this company fell way below expectations. The surf material is fine. However, again the staff were grumpy about sand on the boards and threatened extra charges for cleaning whereas a friendly request and a smile would have brought the message across much better. Again simple poor customer service. The thing is there are 4 or 5 surf shops almost nexto each other in Famara - so why pay the same for poor service and no guidance / information? I definately will return to Famara as the surf was great but would avoid this surf shop. There are many other surf shops that have equivilant or better equipment and service - can only get better.
