Roscoff is a lovely little town and a walk to Chapelle Sainte Barbe is a great way of spending an hour while waiting for the ferry or as something different to do. Just follow the path along the sea, past the lighthouse and big car...More

It is not a difficult walk up to this chapel but it is hard not to feel its significance to previous travellers and during wartime. We just sat and looked out to sea and the ferry port below.

Its a lovely spot to visit for the 360 degree views of Roscoff and the port. The church seems always to be locked but still good for photos. Lots of parking.

A small hike up to the Chapelle allows you to see great views of Roscoff and an old fishing hold, that is still in use today. Wonderful!

I would not reccomend this for very young, the infirm or handiccapped, rought terrain to get up there but the view is always changing from the top.

Chapel locked. Good views of the port, town and Ile d'Batz from the hill it sits on and a geocache nearby.
