Very moving experience in this beautiful place. We visited the cemetery after staying in Caen and on our way to Juno Beach. We stayed for 45 minutes. Handsomely located in the countryside and ample parking for buses and cars.

They did a great job maintain this peaceful place. The large Canadian flag on the parking lot is a very nice touch.

On our way to Juno Beach, our tour group visited this beautiful cemetery. It was very emotional to walk among the 2,000 plus graves of our young Canadian soldiers who gave their lives in order to preserve our freedoms. The graves are meticulously tended, maple trees and flowers adding to the overall layout. Very sad, but incredibly uplifting at the same time. If you are in this vicinity, please visit this wonderful tribute to our young people who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
