This is an unusually large church for the size of the town. The altar and the side chapel are exquisite. The latter has its own painting by Tiepolo. Worth a look and a tranquil oasis on a hot afternoon.
We called in the church at 8 o’clock in the evening because we saw the lights on in one corner. Although dark in parts it is a beautiful building with majestic columns and some fine altar paintings and monuments.
