The tour takes you in 1 hour (+15 minutes) through the city center along the main highlights. Claudia told us a lot of interesting stories about the history of Volterra and all the monuments. She's very passionate and entertaining, also for children. Highly recommended!

A great overview of local history dating back to the Etruscans. The tour is one hour long but it gives a great overview. its a very historic area with lots of Italians comimg to see it

I highly recommend you do this as your first stop in Volterra. It will give you a nice feel for the town and a good lesson in its history and importance. Very interesting worthwhile, A must.
