The fresco painted in 1596 by Ferraù Fenzoni was inspired by Michelangelo's Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel. It covers the entire front wall above the front door and is a must visit

The beauty of the interior of this cathedral is very moving. It is not overly ornate, but simply elegant and well cared for.

Enjoy the views over the Piazza from the top of the stairs to the cathedral. The interior is simple, somber, don't forget to look at the marble floor, it is a beautiful.

Quite a lot of steps rom the Piazza, but lovely views. When we went it was a flower festival in the Piazza , it was lovely to look down on it from the Cattedral.
