The gate was moved to this place to include the popes residence in the old town. A really big door! Nice wood work.

A walk through the old and narrow streets of Terracina can be quite pleasant if at times somewhat hairy due when encountering traffic. How they get cars down some of the narrow streets is beyond me.

The entrance to old Terracina. Beautiful arch in the Roman style. Over two thousand years old, be sure to notice the indications of the Roman Republic when you walk through into history.

This gate serves as entrace to the old town. The entire street is full of things to see, the purgatory church, the town square, the ruins. Worth the visit.
