We did this trek at the late evening just because we had a couple of spare hours. It was quite pleasant (except for its very beginning where you can see nothing at all because you are surrounded by walls and fences). But when you get...More

The hike needs special hiking boots, some points can be slippery, take care before planning this - clothing, sunscreen, water- you will be up for a real treat between the nice forest of the ligurian mountains and the blue mediterranean sea, in summer days you...More

easy to follow route from the town of Sestri Levante to the local headland. Fair bit of climbing to start and end the walk but otherwise easy going

Relative to the other hikes from one town to the next along the Cinque Terra this is a relatively easy one, and ok for able-bodied adults and even kids. The views like everywhere else along this 5 town route are delightful and will make for...More

The walk to Punta Manara took us about 45 minutes each way, with time for taking in the view and having some water. The path is clearly marked, is a bit of a scramble at times and has some steep bits but it’s fairly manageable...More

Can be done as an "out and back" or continue on to the next beach town. Well marked. Even on a holiday was not over crowded.

This is an easy hike, although it has some steep parts involved. The path is clearly marked and there are enough people, so you can't get lost. The vistas are the most rewarding part! Every corner you turn there is another panorama, always breathtaking! Bring...More

This was a very visually rewarding short hike from the heart of the pedestrian area of town. We had our 30-lb. 2-year-old in a carrier and fared well. It is too steep and rocky for such a little one to climb on their own. Wear...More
