A well sculpted monument to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in World War 1. The piazza has great character with the different coloured buildings and numerous archways.

Disappointed after reading the comments and notes left on the site. This monument has very little interest for visitors. However, if you continue a little further on the avenue Pietro Paleocapa you arrive at a large public park very nice and well shaded ...

Interesting war memorial monument in the piazza Goffredo Mameli. The piazza is nice to walk around and there are places to sit as well.

Located in Piaza Mamili , surrounded by vast open are, exciting buildings , & a fountain . the structure is an interesting piece of arch itecture. Its not really on a grand scale , but it is catching , indeed.

While in Savona which we walked very easily to all the most interesting places we reached to this Monument. You feel very humble at this monument remembering the past ancestors who fought very hard to safeguard their families.

When one passes by and just sees a bronze statue group it cannot imagine that it is actually part of a daily tradition in the city. This monument for those who have fallen during the wars has a bell in the middle which tools everyday...More

Every evening at 18.00 this bell start to ring and everybody stop to move to remember all the people who died in a war . Pedestrian , Autos everything became still is very touching.
