When the weather is bad this is a good place to see. Not much furniture but some nice wall paintings.

Don't lose this place if you want to know where a rich family in the Middle Age lived in Piedmont. Affrescos, wooden forniture will tell you everything about this house and what it saw over the centuries.

This is a beautiful preservation of history. The place brings you back over 500 years in time. This is by far the the best historic site in Saluzzo and Saluzzo is worth the visit!

It is a small museum but worth the visit. If you want to know the history behind the beauty of Saluzzo's old town, a visit to Casa Cavassa is a must!

It is a small museum with some furniture and frescos. On clear days, there are great views of the city and the mountain.

We visited the Casa Cavassa with 3 children (14,10,8) we had a wonderful morning here. The children and I enjoyed the museum and the view was beautiful. I would definitely reccomend a visit here when in Saluzzo.

Casa Cavassa is packed with goodies for art lovers - the frescoes are well-preserved and vibrantly colourful. You get an authentic sense of what it was like to live in this house in the days when Saluzzo was an important place on the map. Even Shakespeare had heard of the Counts of Saluzzo! He set his play "All's Well That Ends Well" in the city, borrowing the plot of long-suffering Griselda and her unkind husband from one of Boccaccio's best-known tales. This house is straight out of The Decameron. We loved it

A lovely museum with little tourists and some wonderful exhibits. Loved the picture of the Madonna by a Dutch artist of the Middle Ages, which we had explained to us in detail. It contained all the local dignitaries including the artist in the 'Crowd scene'. One also gets a wonderful view from the terrace and the decorated upper floor. A must to visit if in Saluzzo.
