A great place to go and escape the crowds on the Amalfi coast. A friend told me to visit and I'm so glad we did. Beautiful gardens and so peaceful, I could have happily spent the whole day there just relaxing.
After the hustle and bustle of Amalfi it is well worth it to take a taxi (or your car if you have one) up the three mile winding road up to Ravello for a complete contrast. Ravello is much quieter and calmer with some beautiful...More
Ville di Ravello was a wonderful experience. I originally thought why do I want to do this. Afterward, I am excited to share this experience and suggest you make time for the excursion. Do not miss this gem
Fabulous little town perched high up. Small and not overly crowded with lots happening. Church in the central square along with bars, restaurants and shops many selling some fabulous ceramics. Head down to Villa Rufflo for an iconic view of the Amalfi i Coast
One of the most popular towns on the Amalfi Coast, Ravello is stunningly pretty. Being on a steep hillside, it is not for those with mobility problems. Always crowded and much more expensive than other nearby towns, probably because it appears to cater mainly for...More
Magnificent views, gardens, and statuary, this garden is sheer delight in an Italian setting.
If you ever visit Ravello, stay at the Palumbo, attend any concerts you can fid, and visit this garden. Then you can take one of your Wish List items off the...More

Hi! I had a car rented when I visited Ravello, so I don't know the prices for the bus; but there is definitely a bus because I saw it going around. According to my opinion Ravello has the most beautiful views on Amalfi Coast! Amazing! Ravello is very close to Positano but I remember that it took me an hour from a place to another because it was crowded and the road very narrow. I did not had lunch there, but I recommend Villa Rufolo e Villa Cimbrone...which are the most popular and very easy to find. I would have liked to see a concert at Villa Rufolo...sometimes they have concerts there, maybe you can catch one ...Enjoy!

You can make the drive, but as was stated, it is a windy road and you park outside the little town. It is a very short walk to the main area and there are such lovely grounds and buildings and views that you should not miss it. I stayed in Ravello for four nights and loved it.
