The Castle is very historical and can only make me wonder what happened there in its time. Now it is beautifully presented and hold events often. At night time it is lit up and bright white! A sight to behold
The walls are being repaired so you cannot go up into the tower or walk around the top level until Mid to late May 2018. It is worth a quick visit to see the shell of the 1200AD castle that was never finished.
Castello dell Imperatore in Prato is unfortunately only an empty shell. It looks just like a Hollywood medieval castle with its square towers and high walls, and it really adds to the look of the area.
