If you have time, climb to the top of Castle Doria, Visit the Church on the way up, and pay the small admission fee to come inside. Views from these heights are amazing! Pictures get better and better in Porto Venere the higher you climb.

The views were great, but on this day the neighbors were burning brush from their olive trees and we nearly choked. There was too much smoke to relax and take in the history. Not a lot here and I thought not enough for the 5€...More

A very interesting & small Castle in the scheme of things. On an afternoon visit we left it a bit late & found it closed but the area offered great views over the town of Porto Venere and the surrounds and is just one more...More
