Its a long walk up, but when you know there are fabulous restaurants and amazing views from the top, its worth it, and you can always take the train back down!

Small attractive hilltop village. worth visiting. Because the funicolore was closed, we took the bus - this took ages, but was worthwhile for the views at the top. There is a lovely church with a memorial to the Saint of explosives. wonderful views from everywhere....More

Drove up in the rain. Beautiful and worth it. Walked all around town. Took plenty of pictures. Shopped in small stores.

Very easy drive from town, which showcases a wonderful view of the Tuscan region. Many restaurants were closed in November, but walking through the quaint town was wonderful.

Use the chance to see beautiful countryside from the mountain, the view is outstanding. Plus the way to and from on one of the the oldest "funicolare" is a special excitement

Hotel Da Vinci I suggest. Very well located with good staff and food. Professional price performance. Walking distance from the center and bath....also funicular easy to reach.

We had no problem driving up there in good weather in December. There was no one else up,there and there was no problem parking..of course nothing was open either , but the views were spectacular!
