We visited here with our 4 teenagers. We had a lovely meal followed by a trip to the ice cream parlour. A beautiful setting with fabulous views.

Took the venicular up to here what a great experience and a great day out with the family. View's are to die for and a great little square to sit down and soak up the atmosphere and have a drink of course

Get the fenicular[Railway] up to Montcatini Alto, experience the amazing views across the Tuscan plains. Also some nice pizzerias in the small centre square of the village A little cooler up in the hills, pleasant relief from the heat in Montecatini Terme.

While in Montecatini Terme we visited Montecatini Alto. This is the original hilltop village with churches & monestaries dating back to medieval times. The streets are narrow & winding & there are stunning views fro the city walls out over the neighbouring hills & the...More

It’s a must see if you’re in the area. Ancient. Well looked after. Like something out of a fairytale. Beautiful.

Worth a visit and a couple of hours, but not much longer. Beware the cable tram stops between 1 & 2:30 and is very busy on the first runs thereafter. A nice place to see and have lunch.

This is a fun alternative to its big sister Montecatini, very attractive village with great views and a good range of restaurants around an attractive square. Take the funicular to get there.

I would say no we had one which was nice as we were able to get around easier. The town itself is fairly small and there are 2 train stations in town.

Hotel Da Vinci I suggest. Very well located with good staff and food. Professional price performance. Walking distance from the center and bath....also funicular easy to reach.
