We visited the town on a Sunday and several shops and restaurants were closed
The town is extremely charming, free parking.
Hotels in town are really roomy and prices are very reasonable

I visit Montecatini every month, for many reasons, and my favorite fitness session is running to Montecatini Alto and back.
The square in Montecatini Alto is wonderful and the famous “mangia e bevi” ice cream is a good and healthy choice.
