Easy to get the tickets, get on the train and know when our stop came up. Comfortable seating and great views of the countryside as we traveled.

I can't seem to write a review for Montecatini Centro, but that was the primary station we used earlier this month as it was only a few blocks from our hotel. We did walk to Montecatini Terme-Monsummano one evening as we had interest in a...More

On time and plenty of room for a very reasonable price. Much prefer this route rather than driving and having to park.

Visited Lucca and was very easy by rail. Please remember to validate your ticket once purchased from the machine, there are small machines to do this. Careful though as we lost a ticket whilst trying to validate it. keep hold of the ticket whilst validating

My husband and I took the train into Florence on our last day. Had we realized how easy using the train was in Italy we would have ridden the train more often vs. driving.

The ticket machines were user friendly although we did have a little help from a fellow traveler. The trains were very clean and all of the signage was clear. We enjoyed our train ride to Florence.

Very nice train station. Staff were extremely helpful. Taxis were waiting right outside to take me to my hotel. Prices were reasonable.

We took the train to Cinque Terre from Montecatini. The tickets were reasonble. 66 Euros for 5 adults one way. It took about two hours. Driving would be the same, but traveling by train is less stressful I think.

A station developed as a 'hostile environment'. It was beautifully designed, with a pond in front, but this had been drained when I visited "to stop the immigrants washing their clothes there" perhaps if the toilets had been open they would have been able to...More
