My husband and I were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary in Tuscany and he delighted me by pre-arranging a spa day for us to include time in the therapeutic pool, tub soak, mud wrap and 60 minute massage. We had an expectation that this would...More

Beautiful Romanesque villa. This is a delightful place to wander around and forget busy lives. Tranquil and heavenly. From the paintings to the gardens. From the historic tea salon to the extraordinary tree room gallery. Well worth 6 euros entrance fee.

We spent ages wondering around the gigantic buildings, built for 19th century Italian hypochondriacs and nowadays still popular with Russian ones. Having my Campari and soda on the terrace, more or less alone, was a highlight of our trip.

Terme Tettucio is a beautiful complex combining neo-classical building and Art Nouveau decoration. It's captivating and restful at the same time. I spent ages there just wandering around the grounds and then just sitting watching nothing in particular. I pretty much had my nose everywhere....More

Be aware that you will not see inside any of the spa buildings. Nice walk around those and the Gardens but don't expect to see inside anywhere ( unless you book and pay extra for a health spa). Don't think it's worth 12 Euros each.

I would advise that you contact the spa directly and ask them as they would have special arrangements between Xmas and new year. You have to book the treatments in advance.
