We did not expect this place to be as interesting as it was. It is being renovated and reconstructed with support from EU and it is very very impressive. The view is just amazing! A must if you are in Milazzo!

This castle is well worth a visit. The view is wonderful and you can see all around the coastline of Milazzo. Also the history of this place is fascinating. A lot of conflicts has taken place on this ground since almost a thousand years back....More

Tremendous fortress and easy to get to from the port past fish stalls. The usual pile up of invaders have built here from Greeks to fascists. Now a bit crumbly and fragile. Loved it. Could maybe do with a wee café.

My girlfriend and I spent well over two hours walking around and taking in the beautiful views from the castle. An amazing experience I would recommend to anyone who visits Milazzo. The castle is stunning both internal and external.

The castle or citadel is located in the center, close to one of the emblematic city cathedrals. There is a small FREE parking in front of it. The view from the top is gorgeous. Children enter free of charge. The exhibition is worth seeing. A...More
